Authorities braced for postal vote problems
With a record 6.5 million people expected to vote by post, the Times reports that police investigating allegations of postal voting fraud made their first arrest in Bradford.
The paper says thousands of voters risk being disenfranchised because they have not received the correct papers.
Foreign secretary Jack Straw's Blackburn seat is another centre of concern.
Meanwhile a former Labour councillor implicated in the Birmingham vote-rigging scandal had his name cleared by the high court yesterday.
