Third term challenges become clear
Today's papers look ahead to the challenges facing ministers as they settle in to their new departments this week.
The FT says that next year's comprehensive spending review will be Labour's toughest in office yet as the government seeks to rein in public sector growth.
And the paper claims new health secretary Patricia Hewitt will find pushing through NHS reforms even harder than managing the collapse of MG Rover in her old industry brief.
The Guardian, meanwhile, analyses what changes would occur after Gordon Brown becomes prime minister.
The paper says that Brown will seek "political renewal" and wants to use a "red water" issue, in order to put distance between himself and Tony Blair.
This could be further House of Lords reform, dilution of the royal prerogative or more focus on development issues.
