The Times profiles DUP leader, the Rev Ian Paisley, and says he may no longer be at the height of his physical powers — but he has never has he been so politically successful.

The paper says the the Democratic Unionist Party is on the verge of finally establishing itself as the "undisputed, unassailable voice of Unionism".

And the party is said to be cruising towards an emphatic victory over the Ulster Unionists (UUP) - the establishment party that ran Northern Ireland from its foundation until the Troubles began.
