The Arundel and South Downs constituency of ousted MP Howard Flight has drawn up a three-strong shortlist from which to choose his successor.

The constituency will select a new candidate from the list of Nick Herbert, Laura Sandys and Anne Marie Morris.

Liam Fox, the party's co-chairman, was present at the meeting which prepared the new shortlist.

Flight has signalled that he will continue to fight for his reinstatement despite the move.
