The UK Independence Party yesterday made a last ditch offer to any Tory or Labour candidate prepared to say they would back withdrawal from the EU.

UKIP said they would withdraw their candidates from these constituencies, but would not back down from fighting shadow chancellor Oliver Letwin in marginal Dorset West.
