Clarke plans new assault on anti-social behaviour

The home secretary has announced a fresh drive against anti-social behaviour.

Under the plans, the names, addresses, and photographs of people given anti-social behaviour orders would be routinely published in local newspapers.

Writing in the Mirror, Charles Clarke says: "With the local community knowing who they are - and keeping an eye on them - offenders will feel pressure to behave."
