Watchdog warns of gang culture in schools
A new Ofsted report reveals head teachers' fears of a growing gang culture in schools.
Inspectors from the government's education watchdog found that about 50 per cent of schools thought "gang behaviour" among feuding groups of pupils was a recurring issue, with 20 per cent saying it was widespread.
About 40 per cent of schools reported pupils bringing weapons into the playground or classroom at least once a term.
