The Conservatives have criticised Tony Blair's plan to end poverty in Africa.

Speaking at the launch of the international development part of the Tory manifesto yesterday, shadow minister Alan Duncan strongly criticised the Africa Commission, describing it's report as one-sided, for making demands on the West.

"Judging from the contents that we have seen, there is a real danger that the report will fail adequately to address the crucial issues of African governments," he said.
