Ministers are under fire for ignoring a freedom of information ruling that they must reveal their private financial interests.

In a report to be published soon, Ann Abraham, the parliamentary ombudsman, says the government's refusal to comply is "lamentable" and adds she is "deeply disappointed" by ministers' behaviour.
