MP quits over return to longer hours
Helen Jackson, Labour MP for Sheffield Hillsborough, has announced she will not be standing at the general election because of the return to longer sitting hours.
Jackson had campaigned hard, along with many female colleagues in the parliamentary Labour Party, to retain the "modernised" hours which let the House of Commons finish at 7.30pm each day.
