Taxpayers have two more weeks to file their returns online, the Inland Revenue has announced.

As long as there is proof their first attempt was rejected by its website before the January 31 deadline, the Revenue said it would waive the £100 fine normally imposed.

On Sunday the online system crashed - unable to cope with a surge of people filing at the last minute.
