Lib Dems warned over religious stance
Charles Kennedy has been warned that support from Muslim voters is being put at risk by his party's failure to back planned laws against religious hatred.
Iqbal Sacranie, the secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain, has written to the Lib Dem leader to say that there are "deep concerns" and "disillusionment" among Islamic communities over the Liberal Democrats’ stance on the policy.
