BBC criticised on EU reporting
An indpendent report has critiicsed the BBC's coverage of European affairs.
The reviews, ordered by the corporation's governors, found no deliberate bias.
But it highlighted shortcomings including "a measure of ignorance of the European Union on the part of some journalists and a failure to report issues that ought to be reported, perhaps out of a bellief that they are not sufficiently entertaining".
