New crime agency to look to press
The priorities of Britain's new crime fighting agency will partly be set on how much newspapers write about different types of organised crime.
Sir Stephen Lander, chairman of the Serious and Organised Crime Agency, told today's Independent that Home Office researchers had created a "harm model" that was designed to highlight the most pressing crime issues.
