Judge tells politicians to remain silent
The judge presiding over the court martial of British soldiers accused of mistreating Iraqi prisoners has called on politicians to stop making public statements about the case.
Michael Hunter's plea followed the prime minister's comments in the Commons on Wednesday in which he described the images as "shocking".
Judge Advocate Hunter said: "I appeal that no public statement, if possible, should be made with regards to this trial."
