Blair's Christmas card revealed
Tony Blair's latest Christmas card is today analysed by Fleet Street.
The card shows Tony and Cherie, pictured informally in a country setting.
The Guardian says that although the prime minister looks "unimpeachably healthy", his jumper is "so catastrophic it could just be a cryptic, visual allusion to the existence of bloody international conflict at a time of peace and goodwill."
By contrast, Michael Howard is sending out his seasonal greetings with a picture of penguins in an frozen wasteland.
Charles Kennedy's is no less bleak, with a picture of a Highland outhouse overlooked by a mountain at Glencoe.
