Sports minister Richard Caborn is writing to his Spanish counterpart and football's governing bodies protesting at racist chanting directed at black English players during a "friendly" match in Madrid.

The chanting which "absolutely appalled" Caborn followed alleged racist comments made by Spain's coach Luis Aragones about Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry.
