Tories back gay rights for siblings
Tory MPs will call today for brothers and sisters who live together to have the same rights to exemption from inheritance tax as is being proposed for homosexual couples.
Edward Leigh, the Conservative MP for Gainsborough, has tabled an amendment to extend the Civil Partnership Bill.
He said the legislation was unfair to other unmarried people who lived together.
