Paisley drops IRA hint
Democratic Unionist leader Ian Paisley has hinted that if the IRA decommissioned its weapons, it could be allowed to continue as "an old boys' association".
Paisley met Tony Blair and the Irish prime minister, Bertie Ahern, in London yesterday for talks.
Both governments have handed the DUP and Sinn Fein proposals for an arrangement in which the two parties sit down together in a shared government.
