Galloway denies links to Saddam
George Galloway yesterday described allegations he was in the pay of Saddam Hussein as "like a dagger through my political heart".
The expelled Labour MP, denied being an "apologist" for the former Iraqi dictator when he gave evidence at the start of his libel action against the Telegraph yesterday .
The paper said last year that documents showed Galloway had received at least £375,000 a year from the Iraqi regime.
