Clarke backs Tory reforms
Kenneth Clarke, the former Tory Cabinet minister and failed leadership candidate, is backing plans to strip ordinary Conservative members of the power to elect the leader.
"I do not think the party membership should be able to force a leader on the parliamentary party who the parliamentary party does not want," Clarke said.
