Sudan sets peace deadline
Sudan agreed to a five-point peace plan for the region of Darfur yesterday.
The development came after Tony Blair set a three-month deadline for an end to the long-running conflict.
The prime minister called for action to fulfil promises to pull troops and militias out of the region and allow an African Union force to monitor a ceasefire.
