Ministers 'made mistake' over anti-terror laws
Law lords judging a challenge against the government's anti-terror laws yesterday heard that ministers had made a mistake in believing the decision to allow the detention without trial of foreign suspects did not contravene human rights legislation.
The lawyer for civil liberties group Liberty said the measures "do not take into account the interests of unpopular minorities".
