Visit dentist less, health advisers to recommend

Most adults should only visit the dentist once a year rather than twice, the National Institute for Clinical Excellence is to advise.

In addition, the Telegraph reports that NICE will recommend that those with healthy teeth should only attend check-ups once every two years.

At present, it is advised that everyone should visit a dentist at six-monthly intervals.  The change is to be announced on Wednesday.
