Ex-No10 adviser 'spoiling NHS success'
The government's older people's Tsar Ian Philp will warn in a report next week that a policy success story is in danger of being eroded by plans to divert resources to a private sector scheme run by a former Downing Street adviser.
The Guardian claims that Simon Stevens' US firm United Health is championing plans to suck money away NHS rehabilitation services which have dramatically reduced bed blocking.
