King confirms more rate rises to come
Bank of England governor Mervyn King has warned that interest rates have not peaked after some City analysts relaxed following last week's decision to hold the current cost of borrowing.
The monetary policy committee chairman said last night: "The combination of low and stable inflation and continuously falling unemployment must come to an end at some point and may already have done so."
