PM reaffirms third term commitment
Tony Blair has told reporters travelling with him on his trip to Africa that he remains committed to serving a full third term.
In his first official appearance since his heart procedure the prime minister said: "I find there is nothing more conducive to quick recuperation and recovery than engaging with the British media. It has always been a tremendous pleasure and will always remain so."
He added: "A full term is a full term and that is what it means."
