Labour could offer Lib Dems electoral reform
The Independent claims that electoral reform could be back on the agenda if Labour's majority is cut sharply at the next election.
The government is considering introducing the more proportional alternative vote system under a deal whereby the Liberal Democrats would support most measures but remain free to oppose policies they fundamentally disagreed with.
