Report says cronyism and spin is 'worse under Blair'
Voters think "cronyism" has got worse since Labour came to power, Whitehall's standards watchdog said yesterday.
The report by the Committee on Standards in Public Life said that a third of voters believe that there has been an increase in the number of people getting jobs in public office "through someone they know".
The survey also suggests that "spin" has become as serious a problem for Labour as "sleaze" was for the Tories.
