Tories target 'gas-guzzlers'
The Conservatives have said that motorists who purchase vehicles which give out a high level of carbon emissions should pay extra tax.
Tim Yeo, the shadow transport secretary, told the Times on Friday that: "I'm interested in sending a strong price signal to drivers to think about emissions when buying a car."
