MPs angry at new answer rules
MPs have warned that thousands of parliamentary questions could be lost without a ministerial answer under new rules.
There is concern in the Commons that changes to the system of replying to written questions will mean that any left unanswered at the end of the parliamentary session in October will have to be resubmitted or dropped.
Last year over 1,500 queries were outstanding at the prorogation.
