Poll points to 'family revolution'

An ICM poll for the Guardian today finds a "hidden social revolution" in attitudes to flexible working.

Some 66 per cent of those polled believed the government should allow either parent up to six months paid leave upon the birth of a child.

Some 53 per cent believed fathers should have more than two weeks paternity leave - with 32 per cent saying mums should have more than a year off work.
