Sleaze row hits rail regulator

Gwyneth Dunwoody, the chairman of the Commons transport committee, is angry that rail regulator Tom Winsor is being allowed to advise  clients on railways only three months after leaving his post.

Under normal Department of Transport rules the period should be two years.

Dunwoody has written to the Prime Minister to protest at the deal.
