Blairs do it the Berlusconi way
Fleet Street offers further details of Tony Blair's "low profile, private" visit to Silvio Berlusconi's Sardinian pile.
The whistle-stop visit included a motorboat ride to a local hotspot, a sumptuous dinner for 20, a conference call to the president of the United States, 10 kilos of ice cream rounded off by a concert and fireworks display which reached a crescendo with a pyrotechnical "Viva Tony" displayed on a lake.
The Telegraph speculates that the reason Berlusconi wore a bandanna to greet the Blairs could involve scars from a recent hair transplant.
