Conservatives pick black woman in Capital
The Tories have selected their first black woman candidate, to fight the Labour seat of Lewisham in London at the next general election.
Former nurse Evett McAnuff is facing a 12,000 majority in a constituency that the Conservatives held from 1983 to 1992.
