Tories endorse fathers' campaign
The Conservatives have called for a legal change to give parents equal access to children if they split up.
Speaking at the first Conservative families summit, Michael Howard said a new presumption of equal rights for parents over children's upbringing was vital to ensure fathers, in particular, did not lose touch with their children after divorce.
