Government resists changes to food safety law
The government is resisting pressure from the meat industry in the UK to relax a key law introduced to control BSE.
They are refusing to allow cattle over 30 months old back into the human diet.
Other European countries have adopted a new rule which tests cows individually before they enter the food chain.
