Blair promises postal vote review
Downing Street has promised to look into the future of postal voting following allegations of widespread irregularities and fraud.
There have been reports of intimidation and dirty tricks in the four regions taking part in the all-postal trials.
Commons leader Peter Hain told MPs yesterday that the accusations of malpractice were "tiny" compared to the boost in turnout, but Number 10 pledged a thorough evaluation of the experiment.
