DfID slammed over Aids strategy
The Department for International Development is criticised today by the Whitehall spending watchdog over the running of its multi-million pound budget for preventing the spread of Aids.
A report by the National Audit Office said that the department did not know how much it was spending on its HIV/Aids strategy and lacked a separate system for monitoring the impact of the money it did spend.
