Labour funding threat from unions
Labour has been hit by the decisions of two unions to cut funding to the party.
The Communications Workers Union has decided to suspend £300,000 of annual payments unless the government commits to keeping the Post Office in public ownership.
And the Fire Brigades Union will today opt either to cut its contribution by £20,000 a year or leave the party altogether.
