Feuding continues at Aslef

Train driver's union Aslef has been plunged into further controversy after a picture of a leadership rival with a mock bullet wound in his head was found in the desk of general secretary Shaun Brady.

The picture of leftwinger Mick Rix, who was beaten in an election by Brady last year, appeared to have been shot by a .22 rifle.

In response, Rix visited a police station to seek advice on his personal safety.

The discovery comes after Brady and five others were suspended from the union following a brawl at a barbecue.

Brady said the picture had been sent to him anonymously.
