Kilroy-Silk considers UKIP leadership role
Robert Kilroy-Silk revealed yesterday that he had been urged to take over as leader of the UK Independence Party.
The former chat show host said he would consider the situation after the June 10 election results.
Ahead of the vote, a new opinion poll has indicated growing support for the UKIP.
A YouGov survey for the Telegraph puts support for Labour on 26 per cent, the Conservatives on 24 per cent, UKIP on 19 per cent, the Lib Dems on 15 per cent and the Greens on six per cent.
