Overhaul for public sector productivity criteria
The government is ready to introduce new measuring systems to gauge how the public sector is performing.
Voters are also set to get an unprecedented level of information about the productivity of public services.
The move follows government concern that taxpayers do not understand and appreciate how their money is spent.
The new assessment criteria will be rolled out within two years.
