Shotgun owners to face tougher rules
The owners of Britain’s 600,000 licensed shotguns face new restrictions in measures revealed today in a government consultation paper on firearms.
The document will also look at further restrictions on lookalike weapons and consider whether airguns should be registered.
Today’s consultation paper will be published alongside a thematic review by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary entitled "Guns, Community and the Police".
