Howard slams UKIP as 'threat' to jobs
Michael Howard will use a set piece speech next week to portray the UK Independence Party as a threat to British jobs.
The Conservative leader will set out his party’s position on the EU, saying that only the Tories offer a place in Europe without giving up any more powers to Brussels.
UKIP, he will say, is a danger to the economy, trade and employment.
Meanwhile the Telegraph follows Howard on the European campaign trail where it finds he receives a "positive but hardly delirious" response.
