A bill which bans hunting will become law by the end of the year, campaigners have predicted.

"I have discussed [the Bill] with a minister at a very high level in government who assured me that this legislation will come forward in time for it to become law by the end of this session," said Labour MP Gerald Kaufman, who tabled a Commons motion calling for a ban to be imposed.
