MP calls for tougher press watchdog
Labour MP Clive Soley yesterday called on the prime minister to help curb the "continuing and very crass" invasions of privacy by the media.
"What I want is that the PCC [Press Complaints Commission] gets tougher with its adjudications to avoid the legal options," he said.
"People deserve better than this and the newspaper industry deserves to do better."
