Kennedy backs global capitalism
In a speech today Charles Kennedy will rebuff the anti-globalisation movement.
Calling for a more powerful World Trade Organisation, the Lib Dem leader will dismiss fears about the effects of global capitalism as "largely unfounded".
"Evidence and experience suggests that poor people in poor countries benefit from open economies," he will say.
