Cabinet ministers Alistair Darling and Dr John Reid could lose their seats in a shake-up of Scotland's Westminster constituencies.

While senior ministers could usually expect a colleague to stand aside to ensure they have a safe constituency, there are no signs of this happening for either of the two men, reports the Times.

Labour backbencher George Galloway could also lose his seat, it is reported.
