Dennis Skinner yesterday called on the prime minister to introduce legislation to force senior members of the Royal Family to pay inheritance tax.

His comments came after it was revealed that no details of the Queen Mother's will will be made public.

The Royal Family remained exempt from paying the tax during the Major administration, in a deal through which the Queen began paying income tax.
